Rebels in Longstockings 2010

Napoleon Jacket 2009
I created this tailored, Napoleon-inspired jacket over the course of 9 months during my junior year at MassArt. I have a greater respect for hand crafted jackets, it is a true art form. To experience the effort and countless hours that go into creating a single jacket is quite eye-opening. This particular jacket was accepted into the Wearable Art Exhibit in 2009 at the Burlington Mall of Massachusetts. The jacket is 100% wool with golden hand-embroidered details on the front and back.
