8th grade graduation dinner dress. I hand pressed each pleat and worked with color blocking in the bodice. This is a halter style dress with a scoop neckline. Made in silk polyester.

The back of an 8th grade graduation dinner dress. There is faux corseting and princess seam piecing in black and purple silk polyester.

I hand made the prom dress on the left in May 2010. It is one piece made with a silk polyester and tulle.

I made the red corduroy dress on the right to coordinate with my models (one on the left). I chose a sweetheart neckline and a pleated front to compliment the dress.

The finale for The Rebel in Longstockings 2010. My model made the outfit for sure! She was the essence of Pippi skipping down the runway in her cotton butterfly dress.

I had so much fun designing the bags for my junior models! I may have to look into designing handbags soon...

A color sketch of my 5 piece senior collection 2010. A photo shoot with all 5 finished pieces is in the works!

In my senior year at MassArt I learned a lot about inspirational moods and how they can make or break a collection. Collecting these images is only half the battle...I've taken extensive classes in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and U4ia so that I can better communicate my creative design with those around me.

Some inspirational character images that I drew of Pippi Longstocking to prepare for my senior collection 2010.
